There are four major reasons why someone will fail in a network marketing business. Unless you are working with me, I venture to guess that you were probably never told these before you started your business.

People start a business because they want to improve their financial situation. However they end up treating their business like a hobby and not a business. Look around, ANY successful business has a "marketing budget" to support the growth. Most people are not taught how to generate immediate cash flow and taught how to reinvest back into their business. Most people can not afford to feed their business financially out of their own personal finances for a long period of time. People need to be able to generate an income quickly to stay a float!

In anything new that we endeavor to do in life wither it be a new hobby or new occupation there is always a new skill set associated with doing something new. It is very much the same or more so in owning your own business. Unfortunately in Network Marketing training and professional skills tend to be forgotten. Because of the nature of our business where it is a "volunteer army" scenario, helping someone gain a professional skill set takes time and effort. It is an investment that does not have an emendate return so companies and uplines tend to be really skimpy with substinance here.

If your not taking action your business will not grow. In this industry you will see people who take no action what so ever, people who are inconsistent in their actions, people who do a whole lot of the wrong actions, and people who don't know what to do, they are not taught how to develop a solid plan of action, so they never even get out of the starting gate. If people are not taking action at all it is most likely because they are not confident in their skills or in the plan or lack of a plan to build their business.

Running out of customers or people to talk to. Again in any type of business you need to have a steady and consistent flow of people or customers continually coming to your business to keep it growing. If your business is not growing it is going to go stagnant and begin to shrink and eventually go away. You need to have your information in front of your prospects so they are coming to you. You need to be not only marketing but using effective methods to insure you generate a return. If you are not getting a return you are going to be in the #1 category very quickly.
