Do you have the guts to stick to what you know to be true?
Do you have integrity?
Are you willing to put the needs of your leaders above your own personal desires?
Do your actions reflect your words?
Can you be trusted ? People must first trust you before they will follow your leadership or advice.
Is your purgative "what's in it for me" vs "How can I help someone else?"
The answers to these questions will indicate your ability right now to be a successful and effective leader.

We as leaders choose to do what others won't do to have a better life. Leaders don't always Fit In! Leaders set a higher standard than the rest. Leaders are more concerned with doing what's right than with making a dollar. Leaders empower others to success. Leaders believe in delayed gratification. Leaders are willing to invest time and money into their future. Leaders are transformers of others, not victims. Leaders learn to re-frame situations so that others can begin to see the gifts in their world. Leaders don't let circumstances keep them from having what they want. Leaders have a big vision. Leaders work hard and leaders see the job through.
How do I become a great leader?
- Offer support to your team members and customers. Support is FREE and yields the greatest return
- Be a partner with them. Everyone achieves more when they have someone to be accountable to.
- See the needs of the whole organization.
- Have the ability to see beyond today, your ability to have long term vision of the future has direct bearing on becoming a leader and achieving success.
- Expect and believe in ones potential.
- Offer help, be there, make contact, let them know what is available to them.
- Have and implement a customer retention strategy.
- Invest in your potential leaders-the best investment you can make in your own business!

Think about those you might be a role model to and what examples you are setting for them.
