Training that is worth something..

Everybody says they have training and will give it to you, but most of it is a waist of time and effort. The majority of "training" that is offered has no foundation and no real "meat" to it.
"Just listen to these two CD's then fill out your work book (that you probably paid a lot of money for) and get on the weekly corporate calls and ShaZamm- you are a trained professional and will make a professional sized income".... NOT!
Just like anything in life when you en devour to do something new like a hobbie or occupation, there is a new skill set associated with it. It is the same in Network Marketing . You will not gain the knowledge and skill set from a few CD's and a workbook. If it was that easy why isn't everybody who has joined the industry Millionaires?
If you are going to invest the money and the time why not give yourself as much potential for success as possible. By utilizing training that is useful, valuable, and functional you will drastically increase your chances for success!

Proper Tools and Preparation- in this fast paced, high tech world you can not be successful with outdated methods of doing business. You need to leverage your time and efforts with tools and resources that help you get the most out of your efforts.
Making a connection with your prospects- any business is based on relationships. You only have 15 seconds to make a positive primary perception with someone, if people don't like you they won't do business with you.
Leaving an effective voicemail- The phone is a huge part of building a business. When calling a prospect over 85% of the time you will not connect with them and will need to leave a message. This is where a positive primary perception is born or destroyed. You are branding yourself and planting seeds for future conversations.
Understanding your customers and prospects- People buy for their reasons not yours, people don't buy products they buy solutions. If you don't understand how they perceive their situation you can not offer a solution, they won't buy.
Qualifying- Not everyone is your customer, not everyone will join and do business with you. Time is money so you need to make sure you are spending your valuable time and effort with qualified prospects. No one can qualify a prospect to do business with you but YOU!
Communication skills- Network Marketing is all about relationships -networking- if you can not communicate with people you will not be successful in this industry. Talking to much, information dumping, will seal your fate as well.
Closing- if you don't make sales you won't make any money.
Follow up and Follow through- not everyone will buy the first day, the fortune is in the follow up. When people join or buy from you that is not the end but just the beginning (retention).
Personal Development- what ever one accomplishes begins within himself. Your results are just a reflection and result of your Skill and Mind set.
Action- this is what will build your business, nothing else! Doing the proper actions on a consistent basis is what will get you to your final destination.
Marketing- getting your information and products in front of the people who want and need them. If people don't know your in business are you really in business.
Team management- duplication, growth, retention,training, mentoring, support... you have to have them to have long term stable residual income.
