The Right Company...

When you start looking for a business it can be confusing and overwhelming.

There are a lot of good companies and excellent opportunities out there, but unfortunately there are also a lot of bad ones too. If you don't know exactly what your looking for or know how to look at the right things, is easy to get pressured or mislead into doing something you will end up hating and most likely regretting.

Just like there are good and bad companies- there are also good and bad people in the Industry out there just waiting to pounce on the next new warm body who shows any sign of interest even if their company or program is not a good fit for the individual.

Tip: Their real intentions will be obvious in the way they conduct business and in the questions they ask you- if they ask you any at all, they may do all the talking.

When you make a life altering decision like starting your own business there are so many factor you need to consider before you make any decision.

Unfortunately most people are not completely informed when they make these decisions and end up wasting a lot of time, money and effort on something they end up giving up on and walking away discouraged and frustrated.

Consequently we have a staggering 97% failure rate in our Industry. I love this Industry and I am personally committed to diminishing that statistic and having a positive impact on the experince of those people whom I work with.

So What type of things should you look at?

  • You need to objectively know how much time you have to commit to a business like this.
  • You need to know what type of initial investment you are able to make and what type of marketing budget you have to support the growth of your business?
  • Is this a reputable company?
  • Do they have a proven track record?
  • Are they financially stable?
  • Do they have a valuable product or service?
  • Is this something you can be passionate about?
  • Does this align with you personally, morally and ethically?
  • Is the compensation plan simple and easy to understand?

How Do I Find A Good Company

Not only is finding a business that is a good fit for you very important, but also finding a strong team and a successful sponsor to work with have a significant impact on your success.

How do I find a strong Team? Here are some things to look for:

  • Do they know what their doing?
  • What kinds of training do they recommend and offer?
  • Do they have individualized training?
  • Do they have strong team support systems in place?
  • Are the marketing strategies market tested and proven to be effective?
  • How do they teach team members to conduct business?
  • Are they willing to show you they mean what they say?
  • Find a Good Sponsor!! I can not stress the importance of this critical component.

Finding a good sponsor

I have worked with good hearted well intentioned people but unfortunately they didn't know any more about building a successful business any more than I did. I figured things out the hard way, today I help people find a business scenario that is right for them and equip them for success.
